Tommy Tiernan is an Irish comedian, actor, chat show host, writer and podcaster. Hailed by Billy Connolly as one of his 3 favourite comedians in the world, Tommy has been performing stand-up comedy for close to thirty years. His legendary record-breaking stand-up ticket sales extend across the world. He has made numerous television appearances, including "The Late Show" with David Letterman, and a Comedy Central one-hour special. He has played across the globe from Moscow and Moosejaw and every corner of Ireland's 32 counties, from Tory Island to the Wexford Opera House.
Tommy has recently appeared as 'Da Gerry' in the hit tv show "Derry Girls" on Channel 4 and in the TV adaptation of the bestselling book "Conversations with Friends". Tommy's film and theatre career spans over 25 years appearing in movies such as "Dark lies the island," the Oscar nominated "Wolf Walkers" and
on stage most recently with Druid in 'Sive'.
Tommy is also co-host of the award winning and adored "Tommy Hector & Laurita" podcast, which has recently hit 20 million downloads and is heard in 175 countries around the world.
Tommy is currently on tour in Ireland with his sell out stand-up show "Tomfoolery" while hosting his critically acclaimed improvised chat show "The Tommy Tiernan Show" on RTÉ 1.
